Select any two (2) stories you have read so far for this course which use a particular common technique or techniques in creating their narratives. Write a 500-word essay (about two (2) double-spaced pages) comparing and contrasting how the technique (or techniques) is used in both stories.

Write a 2-page paper in which you:

1. Identify the two (2) authors and the two (2) stories you are comparing, and provide a very brief description of each author’s life and work.
2. Identify and describe the technique that is shared by the stories.
3. Explain how you believe the technique is used by each author and what its significance is; analyze the similarities and the differences between how the technique is used.
4. Cite at least three (3) passages in each story where the technique is used, to support your points.

Your assignment must:

• Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides; references must follow APA Style. Check with your professor for any additional instructions.
• Include a cover page containing the tile of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name, the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required page length.
